Good Luck, I'd really like you to win the primary and the election. Your assistance to many is well-known and well-regarded. With so many job losses and pensions in disarray, we need people with integrity, honesty and experience in public office (esp. our next Public Advocate).
I was diagnosed, had 3 surgeries, and much treatment at both Mary Immaculate Hospital and St. John's Queens Hospitals. I wrote 10 personal letters to politicians, and attended 3 rallies to help stop
the closings of both hospitals. Now, Queens is underserved and has less beds, emergency rooms etc...


Child Obesity

In the past ten years, obesity levels have doubled in the United States. More than half of adult New Yorkers are overweight or obese, and nearly half of all New York City elementary schoolchildren are not at a healthy weight. Obesity can begin very early in life. In fact, in New York City, 1 in 5 kindergarten children is obese.
Being overweight is not about looks. Many serious health problems are related to being overweight or obese, such as asthma, depression, diabetes and heart disease.
What are we going to do?

In light of thousands of Americans being sent to hospitals across our nation because of tainted food, we need serious reform and a true public advocate who can be a watchdog and a voice for families. Mark Green is that strong voice; just as he delivered for us in the past, I'm confident he will again as our Public Advocate.
